This itinerary shows all the day to day activities through out the days in Uganda's Bwindi
Upon arrival in Kampala or Entebbe, our professional driver-guide welcomes you for a scenic drive to Bwindi (approximately 8–9 hours by road).

You will arrive at your lodge in the evening, check in, relax, and enjoy dinner while preparing for the next day’s adventure.

Morning Briefing
After an early breakfast, you transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. You will be assigned a gorilla family and trekking group (maximum 8 visitors per group).
The Trek
Trek duration varies between 1–6 hours depending on the movement of the gorilla family. The terrain may be steep, muddy, and physically demanding, but incredibly rewarding.
Once located, you will spend one magical hour observing the gorillas in their natural habitat. Watch:

- Natural feeding and grooming behaviors
This is one of the most emotional wildlife encounters in the world.
Afternoon Options
After returning from the trek, you may choose:

After breakfast, you begin your return journey to Kampala or Entebbe. Arrival is typically late afternoon or early evening depending on road conditions.

Gorilla Trekking Requirements & Important Information
Permit Information
Gorilla permits are limited and must be secured in advance. Booking early (3–6 months prior) is strongly advised, especially in peak seasons (June–September & December–February).
Age Limit
Minimum trekking age: 15 years.
Fitness Level
Moderate physical fitness is recommended. Treks can involve steep terrain and thick vegetation.
Health Guidelines
Visitors with contagious illnesses (especially flu or cough) may be restricted from trekking to protect gorillas.
