Day-to-Day Activities
Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania – Tarangire or Lake Manyara Safari Experience
Arrival & Welcome: Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport, guests are met by a professional Nile Abenteuer Safaris guide. After a short briefing, guests are assisted with luggage and transferred to the safari vehicle.
Scenic Transfer: Depart Arusha by 8:30 AM for a 2–2.5 hour drive to either Tarangire National Park or Lake Manyara National Park, depending on seasonal wildlife movement and guest preference.
Option A: Tarangire National Park
Game Drive: Enter through the main gate and begin exploring the park’s iconic baobab forests and elephant corridors. Tarangire is known for its dense wildlife during the dry season, including lions, giraffes, buffalo, and over 500 bird species.
Picnic Lunch: Served at a shaded site near the Tarangire River, often with views of elephants bathing or crossing.
Afternoon Safari: Continue through Silale Swamp and open savannah, tracking predators and observing migratory herds.
Sunset Exit: Depart the park around 6:00 PM and transfer to a lodge near Lake Manyara or Karatu.
Option B: Lake Manyara National Park

Lunch: Served at a scenic picnic site or lodge within the park.
Afternoon Safari: Drive through acacia woodlands and hot springs, spotting elephants, impalas, and waterbirds.
Sunset Exit: Transfer to your lodge in Karatu or on the Rift Valley escarpment.
